In the Bahçelievler neighborhood of Kızıltepe district in Mardin, a person, who was claimed to be psychologically unstable, attacked a mother walking with her baby by the roadside with a punch the other day. The woman, who fell to the ground, tightly hugged her baby to protect them from harm, while the attacker continued to assault her.

Then, the attacker turned towards a small girl playing in front of her house and threw a hard punch at the child's head as she tried to escape in fear. The impact of the blow sent the child crashing through the door. Those moments were captured second by second on nearby security cameras.
NEIGHBORS SUBDUED HIM AND HANDED HIM OVER TO THE POLICE
The attacker, who was subdued by the intervention of the neighborhood residents upon hearing the screams, was handed over to the police teams who arrived at the scene after the alert. An investigation was initiated regarding the suspect, who was taken into custody and brought to the police station.
