In a facility in Aksaray, police intervened with two intoxicated individuals who were allegedly causing a disturbance with a knife. When the individuals resisted, the police used pepper spray to subdue them. The person, unable to open his eyes, and his friend, caused the police teams to break a sweat, leading to their being handcuffed and placed in a vehicle. The intoxicated individual, who said, "I can't see, where am I?" was taken into custody and brought to the police station.
In Aksaray, at the Karasu Junction, intoxicated individuals causing trouble with a knife were reported to the police by citizens and the facility's officials.
INTERVENTION WITH PEPPER SPRAY
Upon notification, police teams were dispatched to the scene. When the teams arrived at the address shortly, the individuals resisted the officers when they wanted to search them. After a while, one of the individuals who resisted the police was incapacitated with pepper spray.
MADE POLICE SWEAT
Then, the intoxicated individual, who was to be placed in the police vehicle, refused to be detained, claiming he couldn't open his eyes due to the effects of the pepper spray. "Open my eyes, I can't see. Where am I?" he said. While his friend, who wanted to obstruct the press from filming, was handcuffed and detained by the police, they were taken to the police station in the vehicle.
An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident and is ongoing.
