In this chilling event, the little baby narrowly escaped death.
The long-standing "child noise" dispute among neighbors in Yalova's Çınarcık district turned into a violent incident. According to allegations, 34-year-old father Muhammed Baca and his 14-month-old daughter İkra were attacked with a stick by their neighbors. In the incident, the father's nose was broken, while the little girl's skull was cracked.
FEUD CONTINUING DUE TO NOISE
The incident occurred in the Esenköy town of Çınarcık district. It was learned that discussions had arisen between the Baca family, who moved into the house they bought about a year ago with their 4 children, and another family living in the same building due to the noise made by the children.
According to allegations, the tension between the parties occasionally escalated to the level of threats.
ATTACKED WHILE HOLDING HER BABY
In the latest incident that occurred on February 20, it was claimed that Muhammed Baca's 14-month-old daughter İkra was hit with a stick by Şener E. while she was in his arms.
As a result of the attack, Baca's nose was broken, and little İkra suffered a skull fracture. The injured father and daughter were treated at Yalova Training and Research Hospital.
ONE OF THE SUSPECTS ARRESTED
Şener E., who was taken into custody after the incident, was arrested by the court and sent to prison. It was learned that the other suspect, S.E., who reportedly had a restraining order against him, was released.
"I AM NOT A FATHER WHO WILL TAKE MY DAUGHTER IN MY ARMS AND GO TO A FIGHT"
Describing what he experienced, Muhammed Baca stated that on the day of the incident, he returned home holding his daughter and that the neighbor he encountered on the street verbally provoked him.
"I entered with my fasting mouth, I called the gendarmerie. When the gendarmerie arrived, I handed over my vehicle camera. I said, 'I will break my fast and come.' My daughter was in my arms. I am not an irresponsible father who would take my daughter and go to a fight," Baca claimed, asserting that the attack occurred while gendarmerie personnel were present.
"WE ARE AFRAID TO ENTER OUR HOME"
Baca, who stated that the attack occurred despite the restraining order, expressed that his daughter had a skull fracture and that he had a broken nose, voicing their security concerns.
"They hit us with wood while I was entering with my daughter. Half of the wood hit my shoulder, the other half hit my daughter's head. The person who has been bothering us for 9 months and has a restraining order is wandering outside. Where should I go with my four children?" he called for help.
It was learned that the family had previously received threats and had filed complaints.
