The commander of the Iranian Navy, Rear Admiral Shahram Irani, stated that the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier deployed by the United States in the region is under constant surveillance and that they will target it if it enters Iran's missile range.

According to Iran's semi-official Tasnim News Agency, Navy Commander Rear Admiral Irani stated that they will continue to target the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier deployed by the U.S. in the region.

The Iranian general included the following statements in his remarks:

"The performance and movements of the enemy Abraham Lincoln fleet are constantly being monitored, and as soon as the enemy fleet enters the range of missile systems, it will be the target of overwhelming attacks by the Iranian navy."

IRAN HAD PREVIOUSLY ANNOUNCED THAT THEY HAD ATTACKED

Iranian General Staff Spokesman Brigadier General Ebulfazl Shikarchi stated in a statement on March 14 that the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier of the U.S. in the region had been targeted and claimed that it had escaped operational range after the attack.

The U.S. military, on the other hand, claimed that the statements from Iran regarding the aircraft carrier being attacked were not true.
