Iran's Ambassador to Ankara, Muhammet Hasan Habibullahzade, responding to questions from journalist Sinan Burhan, stated that Turkey is under the threat of Israel. Habibullahzade said, "If Iran weakens and is defeated, these two countries will target other countries in the Middle East as well. Turkey is one of these targets. The Turkish people are aware of this. We are in a spirit of solidarity with the Turkish people."
While the attacks of the USA and Israel on Iran continue, striking statements have come from Iran's Ambassador to Ankara, Muhammet Hasan Habibullahzade.
"THEY WANTED TO CHANGE THE REGIME"
Habibullahzade answered the questions of journalist Sinan Burhan. In response to the question, "Did you expect this war?" the ambassador said, "To speak frankly, yes, we expected such a possibility. Because similar processes occurred in the past, and we received various warnings about this. Therefore, we were closely monitoring the developments. We had discussions in June last year, which were almost going to yield positive results, but Israel obstructed this. While the discussions were ongoing, the 12-day wars began. Following that, they wanted to change the regime by staging a popular uprising in January," he said.
"THEY USED NEGOTIATIONS AS A DELAYING TACTIC"
Habibullahzade stated, "They burned 300 mosques, killed more than two hundred police officers, and killed thousands of Iranians. Their aim was to incite internal rebellion to overthrow the regime, but they were not successful in this. Again, they invited Iran to the table. We also said yes to these negotiations for the sake of peace and to avoid war. There was a very positive atmosphere in the negotiations held in Switzerland, but suddenly Israel attacked. They martyred Iran's religious leader Ali Khamenei and bombed Iran together with the USA. We pushed the negotiations to the end, but they used the negotiations as a delaying tactic. Their real intention was to attack Iran," he expressed.
"THEIR AIM IS TO OCCUPY THE REGION INCLUDING IRAN"
Evaluating President Trump's statement, "Iran was going to attack us, we attacked," the ambassador said, "This is a very funny claim. We are the ones at the negotiation table, we are the ones who want peace. It is the USA and Israel that constantly want to attack. Trump tells this lie to convince his public. However, the Pentagon did not confirm Trump. Additionally, Secretary of State Rubio said, 'Israel entered the war, and we also entered the war alongside it.' Israel is the one that started the war. They are lying about this as well. Their aim is to occupy the region, including Iran," he said.
"TURKEY IS UNDER THE THREAT OF ISRAEL"
In response to the question, "What is Israel's ultimate goal? Is Turkey under threat?" Habibullahzade said, "Yes, we know that Israel promotes ethnic and sectarian divisions in the region. They want chaos in the region. They have made Iran a target. If Iran weakens and is defeated, these two countries will also target other countries in the Middle East. Turkey is one of these targets. The Turkish people are aware of this. We are in a spirit of solidarity with the Turkish people," he stated.

Regarding the girls who lost their lives in the attacks of the USA and Israel, he said: "They killed 171 of our girls. On the tenth day of the blessed month of Ramadan, Saturday, one day and one night after the last negotiations, we were subjected to a brutal attack by the United States and the Zionist regime. The first attacks were very deliberately chosen; at the same time, they targeted and martyred our country's leader while he was at work with his family, and they also martyred our children with two missiles in Minab. Today, the eternal grave of 171 beautiful Iranian angels is being prepared. What was their crime?"
"WE DID NOT FIRE MISSILES INTO TURKISH TERRITORY"
Finally, the ambassador stated regarding the missile allegedly launched from Iran to Turkey, "Our General Staff of Iran has made a statement on this matter. We stand behind this statement. We have brotherhood with the Turkish people. Our state made the following statement: 'We did not fire missiles into Turkish territory. We respect the sovereignty of Turkey, our friendly and neighboring country,'" he concluded.
