Iranian opposition figure Masoud Nazari was killed in an armed attack in Arnavutköy, Istanbul. On September 14, Tuesday, around 20:30, Masoud Nazari, an Iranian national, was injured in a gun attack while trying to go home on Salih Street in the İslambey neighborhood of Arnavutköy district in Istanbul. Nazari was taken to the hospital for treatment but could not be saved despite all interventions.
Police teams have launched an operation to capture the fleeing assailant. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
