ISRAELI WARPLANES FLEW AT LOW ALTITUDE
Israeli jets flew at low altitude over Beirut during the high-attendance funeral held for former Hezbollah leaders Nasrallah and Hashim Safiyuddin, who were killed in attacks carried out by Israel on September 27 and October 3. Israeli warplanes passed over the stadium twice at low altitude, once after the body of the slain Hezbollah leader Nasrallah was brought to Kamil Shamoun Stadium and again while Hezbollah Secretary-General Naim Qassem was giving a speech.

After the passage of Israeli aircraft, those attending the funeral chanted slogans of "Death to Israel" in protest. It was also reported that Israeli drones were flying over Beirut during the funeral.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army announced that it had carried out airstrikes on certain areas in southern and eastern Lebanon. In a statement from the army, it was reported that airstrikes were conducted on Baalbek in the east of the country and some areas in the south due to identified Hezbollah targets. Lebanese media reported that Israeli warplanes targeted the surroundings of the towns of Zerariyeh, Zibkin, Kalila, Janneta, Deyr Kanun en-Nahr, and Marub in southern Lebanon.
