In Sarıyer, police seized cocaine from a motorcyclist they stopped. During an operation at the address where the suspect was taking the drugs, the teams found a Kalashnikov, a bulletproof vest, and a handgun inside a guitar case in the apartment. Out of the 8 suspects taken into custody, 1 was arrested while 3 were released under judicial control. It was revealed that one of the suspects was wanted by Interpol with a red notice.
An operation was carried out in Istanbul's Sarıyer district that could be the subject of films. According to the information obtained; on the evening of Monday, September 1, the motorized dolphin police affiliated with the Sarıyer Patrol Teams conducted an operation on the street. During this time, the teams stopped a motorcycle with the license plate 34 GBJ 552 on suspicion.

Cocaine was seized from the driver who was searched. The police, who took the suspect's statement, determined that the drug was taken to a residence on the street. Following this, the police teams conducted an operation at the apartment in the residence.
KALASHNIKOV IN A GUITAR CASE
The Sarıyer motorized dolphin police, who searched the apartment, seized a Kalashnikov inside a guitar case. Continuing their searches, the police found 2 bulletproof vests, an unlicensed pistol, 3 long-barreled gun cartridges, 40 pistol cartridges, 6.62 grams of cocaine, and 3.80 grams of marijuana in the apartment.
Subsequently, Burak A., Doğuş C., Halit E., Hüseyin E., Muhammet Şamil S., Timur İ., Eric J., and Ömür Gazi Y. were detained. The moments when the suspects entered the residence and one suspect carried a Kalashnikov in a guitar case were captured by security cameras.
8 SUSPECTS DETAINED
The 8 suspects taken to the police station were questioned, and legal proceedings were initiated against them. After the completion of their procedures, 4 suspects were released by the prosecutor's decision. The other 4 suspects were referred to the courthouse. Burak A., Timur İ., and Doğuş C., who were brought to court for the crime of 'trafficking in narcotic substances', were released under judicial control. Muhammet Şamil S. was arrested and sent to prison for the crime of 'violating the law on firearms'.
