The Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, Ali Larijani, made a very harsh statement following the assassination of Religious Leader Ali Khamenei.
LARIJANI'S THREAT TO TRUMP
Larijani stated that U.S. President Donald Trump, whom they hold directly responsible for the attack, will definitely pay the price for this action, saying, "We will relentlessly take revenge for the blood of our leader and our people."
"MANY AMERICAN SOLDIERS HAVE BEEN CAPTURED"
Larijani said: "Many American soldiers have been captured. However, they are spreading a misleading narrative that five or six American soldiers have been killed. Later, with various excuses like accidents or fabricated incidents, they gradually increase the death toll over time."
"WE WILL RESPOND WHEN THE ENEMY ATTACKS US"
We will respond when the enemy attacks us from bases in the region, and we will; this is our right and a stable policy. Countries in the region must either prevent the U.S. from using its territory against Iran or we will do so.
