The 7th General President of the CHP, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, was seen for the first time in a long time. Visiting the grave of former CHP General President Deniz Baykal at the State Cemetery on the third anniversary of his passing, Kılıçdaroğlu said, "Deniz Baykal was a very important figure in our political history. He was honest, principled, moral, loved his country, and practiced and developed politics on moral foundations; he was a person we looked up to. I pray for God's mercy upon him."
The 7th General President of the CHP, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, visited the grave of former CHP General President Deniz Baykal at the State Cemetery on the third anniversary of his passing.
For the first time in a long time, Kılıçdaroğlu was accompanied by Prof. Dr. Ataç Baykal, the son of Deniz Baykal, CHP Ankara Deputy Deniz Demir, former CHP Deputy Chairman Bülent Kuşoğlu, former CHP Aydın Deputy Metin Lütfi Baydar, journalist Metin Işık, and Kılıçdaroğlu's lawyer Celal Çelik.
THEY ALSO VISITED ECEVIT'S GRAVE
After leaving a carnation at Baykal's grave, Kılıçdaroğlu and his companions also visited the grave of Bülent Ecevit, the 3rd General President of the CHP and Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey, and left a carnation there as well.

Kılıçdaroğlu stated in his remarks, "Deniz Baykal is a very important figure in our political history. He was honest, upright, moral, loved his country, and engaged in politics on ethical foundations, serving as a role model for us. I wish him mercy from God."
