Merve Taşkın, who was detained and later released under house arrest following her post on Valentine's Day, shared her experience on her social media account.
After the complaints made to CİMER following her post for Valentine's Day, the influencer Merve Taşkın, who was taken into custody, was released under house arrest judicial control measures and explained the process on her social media account.
Merve Taşkın described her experiences after being taken into custody as follows:
"I was taken from my home, brought to the Gayrettepe Public Security Branch, and my statement was taken. (The police were very polite, I thank them all from here.)
After my statement, I spent a night in a cold, stuffy, and unhygienic holding cell. (I was cold.) Around 5:00 AM, Iranian girls gathered from the nightclub were also brought to my side.
One of the girls was crying at first because she had ended up in the holding cell. However, when she learned that I was Turkish and that I was there because of social media, she started to laugh. When she realized I was Turkish, she told the people next to her, 'If a Turk does this to another Turk, why should I cry?'
There were also Turks in the nightclub, and their statements were taken as well. They were released afterward. One person asked me, "Why are you being held here?"
The next day, I was taken to Çağlayan Courthouse. The prosecutor who took my statement there was also friendly and polite. However, unexpectedly, he made a left turn and hit from the right, and requested my arrest.
I appeared before the judge and attended the hearing, and a house arrest sentence was given. The duration of the sentence is not yet clear. Someone please tell me, "We played a practical joke on you, nothing is real..."
Bonus: This time I cried.."
