THE WOMAN'S SCREAMS FILLED THE STREET
The incident occurred around 8:00 PM on Sururi Say Street in the Yeşilyurt neighborhood. Sevgi Giray (36), a married woman and mother of one, was attacked with a knife by a person approaching from behind while she was walking home. Noticing the person coming towards her with a knife, the woman tried to run away. As Giray stumbled and fell to the ground, she was stabbed in the back by the suspect who was following her. Upon hearing the woman's screams, the attacker fled the scene.

It was seen that Giray was injured as she fell while running away, suffering a stab wound to her back from the attacker who was following her. Upon notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. Sevgi Giray was taken to Erbaa State Hospital by ambulance for treatment.

The police teams initiated a search for the capture of the attacker. The teams examining the security cameras identified the attacker as M.K., who was reported to have a mental disability. The suspect was captured and taken into custody by the police. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
