In front of the building where the Israeli Consulate is located in Levent, Istanbul, one suspect was killed and two suspects were neutralized with injuries during the conflict. 1 SUSPECT DEAD, 2 CAPTURED
The incident occurred yesterday around 12:00 PM in front of the plaza where the Israeli Consulate is located. Three attackers armed with long-barreled weapons launched an attack on the police officers who were taking security measures. A clash broke out when the police teams responded. One of the attackers was killed in the clash, while 2 attackers were neutralized with injuries. 2 police officers were also lightly injured. It has been learned that the injured attackers are being interrogated in the hospital.
NUMBER OF ARRESTS RISES TO 12
Meanwhile, 3 more individuals identified as being related to the attack were detained in a nearby area. As a result of the statements of the 5 individuals in custody and the work of the police teams, 6 more suspects related to the attack were captured. The number of arrests related to the incident has risen to 12. It has been learned that 1 suspect was captured in Izmit and another suspect in Konya during operations.
