Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu faced a strong backlash during an officer graduation ceremony he attended. While Netanyahu was speaking on stage about soldiers killed in operations, shouts of "Go home!" arose from the crowd. As boos, whistles, and applause mixed throughout the hall, a bewildered Netanyahu tried to ignore the tension and completed his speech by raising his voice.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu faced harsh protests from participants while at the podium during an officer graduation ceremony. As Netanyahu spoke about fallen soldiers, a citizen shouted "Go home!" and the hall was filled with boos and applause.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, amid increasing domestic pressure due to operations in Gaza and the Lebanon war, became the direct target of protests at a military ceremony. As Netanyahu stepped up to the podium to deliver a speech at the military graduation ceremony, he experienced difficult moments due to reactions rising from the crowd.

THEY SHOUTED "GO HOME" AS HE DESCRIBED HIS LOSS

Tensions escalated in the hall as Netanyahu made an emotional speech on the podium, referring to his brother Yonatan Netanyahu, whom he lost in a past military operation.

When a person from the crowd shouted in Hebrew "Lech Habaita!" (Go home!), the murmur in the hall grew louder.

Following the reaction, some participants in the area applauded to suppress the protester, while a significant portion supported the protest by booing.

NETANYAHU'S SPEECH ON VIDEO AND THOSE MOMENTS

In the shared footage, Netanyahu's speech at the podium and the protest moment were captured moment by moment on camera. That part of Netanyahu's speech and the dialogues in the hall unfolded as follows:

Netanyahu: "...My dear [brother], he died in my arms, he took his last breath in my arms."

(At that moment, a voice rises from the crowd)

Protester: "Go home!" (Lech Habaita!)

(Suddenly, booing, whistling, and applause from those trying to suppress the protest mix together in the hall. Netanyahu pauses briefly and looks around, then raises his voice and continues his speech)

Netanyahu: "You lost your friends but you continued. Because you understood very well who we are fighting and against whom!"

HE IGNORED THE TENSION

Pausing briefly in the face of the protest but not leaving the podium, Netanyahu largely tried to ignore the tension. Raising his voice even more and increasing his emphasis, the Israeli Prime Minister continued his speech, focusing on the military's field situation, determination, and the fight against terror, and concluded his address. However, these moments at the ceremony once again revealed the depth of the political and social rift within the country.
