MÜSİAD President Mahmut Asmalı requested to reduce the revaluation rate of 43.93%, which will be effective from January 1, 2025, to 30%.

Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan announced yesterday that the minimum wage has been increased by 30% for the year 2025. While those who find the increase insufficient reacted to the new minimum wage; the employer sector evaluated the new minimum wage.

NEW REQUEST FROM MÜSİAD

Mahmut Asmalı, the Chairman of the Independent Industrialists and Businessmen's Association (MÜSİAD), expressed his hope that the minimum wage, set at 22,104 TL with a 30% increase for 2025, would be beneficial, while also stating that they have a new request.

Asmalı stated, "We respectfully request our esteemed President to reduce the revaluation rate of 43.93%, which will be effective from January 1, 2025, to the level of 30%. We believe that this regulation will provide significant support for both our business world and our citizens."
