SHOT HIS MOTHER AND DAUGHTER AND TOOK THEM TO HIS WIFE'S HOUSE
In the incident that occurred on 384th Street in the Kuşcağız neighborhood of Keçiören, Recep Cengiz, who was released from prison on leave, came to the house where his mother and daughter lived. For an unknown reason, he argued with his mother and shot his daughter Azra Cengiz, who was with her, in the car with a gun. Recep Cengiz then placed the lifeless bodies of his mother and daughter in the trunk and went to the house of his estranged wife Beyzanur Uçan Cengiz, who lived in the same neighborhood.
COMMITTED SUICIDE AFTER SHOOTING HIS WIFE
Disguised as a courier, Recep Cengiz opened the door for his estranged wife Beyzanur Uçan Cengiz and shot her with a gun before committing suicide with the same weapon.
DAMAGED ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION TO AVOID SECURITY CAMERAS
It was learned that Recep Cengiz was sentenced to 4 years in prison for threats with a weapon, fraud, and insult, and that he was initially held in a closed prison before transferring to an open prison. It was also claimed that the individual damaged the electrical installation in the building where he killed his wife to avoid security cameras. A comprehensive investigation into the incident has been initiated.
"HE SHOT HIS MOTHER AND CHILD IN THE CAR"
Nizamettin Karagöz, the manager of the building where the incident took place, claimed that Recep Cengiz and Beyzanur Uçan Cengiz had recently married and that Beyzanur had filed for divorce, stating, "The man had previously experienced some difficulties. He had a restraining order against his wife. His wife mentioned that he had been released from prison. They got married 6-7 months ago. They couldn't get along. The woman filed for divorce. The man probably didn't accept this. First, he shot his mother and child in the car. He came here disguised as a courier. He shot his wife here as well. The woman lived here 2-3 years ago. She came and went, and lived here again. We were very pleased; she was a very good person," he said.
