The detention period of Coşkun Necati Arabacı, the crime organization leader known by the nicknames 'Father of Köln' or 'Hell Necati,' who was taken into custody during an operation held in İzmir, has been extended by 1 day.

The teams of the İzmir Police Department's Organized Crime Fighting Branch, as a result of long-term intelligence operations, detained Coşkun Necati Arabacı, who is alleged to be the founder and leader of an organized crime syndicate, during an operation at Adnan Menderes Airport on the morning of October 5.

EXTENSIVE CRIMINAL RECORD

Arabacı, 53, known as the 'father of Cologne,' has been found to be involved in many illegal activities, including money laundering, drug trafficking, and arms smuggling. Arabacı, who was captured during the operation carried out under extensive security measures, was taken to the İzmir Police Department's Organized Crime Fighting Branch for questioning.

It was determined that Arabacı arrived at İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport from Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, on October 5.

In a statement from the İzmir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was stated, "A detention extension decision has been made for 1 day regarding the suspect Coşkun Necati Arabacı, who was detained on 05.10.2025 at Adnan Menderes Airport in the Gaziemir district of İzmir, on charges of 'Establishing an Organization for the Purpose of Committing Crimes' and 'Qualified Robbery.'
