The Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Osman Boyraz, who spoke about the high-speed train projects being worked on, stated that they will put a high-speed train running at 225 kilometers per hour on the tracks in January 2026. Boyraz said, "We will undertake a new major project. We are constructing a high-speed train line that will travel between Ankara and Istanbul at a speed of 350 kilometers per hour. It will take 80 minutes."

Boyraz explained that they have developed the "Transport Festival Project" where they share experiences, knowledge, and expertise, and expressed that they offer internship and career opportunities to young people.

Boyraz emphasized that they are writing a story at every stage of transportation as a ministry, stating that they need the youth in this journey. Highlighting the importance of high-speed trains, Boyraz said, "We were importing high-speed train sets from abroad, but now we are producing them ourselves. In January, we hope to put our high-speed train, which travels at a speed of 225 kilometers per hour, on the tracks."
Boyraz, who announced that the test drives of the train, which will travel at a speed of 225 kilometers per hour, will begin in January in Sakarya, said, "Inshallah, we will undertake even bigger projects with you. We will create a new large project. We are building a high-speed train line that will travel between Ankara and Istanbul at a speed of 350 kilometers per hour. It will take 80 minutes."
