Following the disarmament of a group from the terrorist organization PKK, the establishment of the Terror-Free Turkey Commission in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) has been initiated. Yesterday, the Speaker of the Assembly, Numan Kurtulmuş, visited CHP Chairman Özgür Özel to hold discussions and requested names from political parties by July 31.

With the historic call of MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, the "Terror-Free Turkey" process has begun, during which a group of 30 individuals from the terrorist organization PKK burned their weapons. Following this step, the "Terror-Free Turkey Commission" to be established in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) has been initiated. Yesterday, TBMM President Numan Kurtulmuş, who visited CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, requested political parties to submit the names of commission members by July 31 at 17:00.

THE COMMISSION WILL CONSIST OF 51 MEMBERS

The commission, which will consist of 51 members, will include 21 from the AK Party, 10 from the CHP, 4 each from the DEM Party and MHP, and 3 each from the İYİ Party and Yeni Yol. Additionally, HÜDA PAR, Yeniden Refah, TİP, EMEP, DSP, and DP, which do not have a group in the TBMM, will each have one member in the commission.
