New developments have emerged regarding Abdurrahman Tutdere, who was subjected to a judicial control decision of 'house arrest' and was suspended from his position as the Mayor of Adıyaman, as part of the investigation into the criminal organization led by Aziz İhsan Aktaş, who is accused of organizing tender processes by bribing mayors.
'HOUSE ARREST' DECISION LIFTED
While the judicial control measure of 'house arrest' imposed on Tutdere has been lifted, the judicial control measure of 'prohibition from leaving the country' will remain in effect.
WHAT HAD HAPPENED?
Abdurrahman Tutdere, the Mayor of Adıyaman, was detained on July 5 as part of the investigation into the criminal organization led by Aziz İhsan Aktaş, who is accused of organizing tender processes by bribing mayors. On July 8, the court decided to impose judicial control measures of 'house arrest' and 'prohibition from leaving the country' on Tutdere. Following this decision, he was suspended from his position by the Ministry of Interior.
