The Beyaz Köşk, one of the most expensive properties on the Bosphorus owned by Akın İpek, the owner of Koza İpek Holding and a fugitive from FETÖ, has been put up for sale again. A discount of 140 million lira has been applied to the starting bid for the auction of the mansion, which could not be sold previously.

IT HAD PASSED TO TMSF
The mansion in Bebek belonged to Akın İpek, the owner of Koza İpek Holding and a fugitive from FETÖ. The mansion owned by İpek was transferred to the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) after the FETÖ coup attempt on July 15, 2016. There had been three previous auctions for the White Mansion, but no results were achieved.
140 MILLION DISCOUNT APPLIED
The starting price of the mansion, which is up for sale again, has also been discounted this time. In the auction announcement made last March, the starting price was stated to be 950 million lira. The new announcement noted that the starting price has been reduced to 810 million lira.
THE COMPANY MADE A STATEMENT
In a statement made by Koza Altın İşletmeleri to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) regarding the sale of the mansion, the following was stated: "Our company has decided to establish a 'Tender Commission' to manage the tender process and to hold an auction for the sale of our real estate located in Istanbul, Beşiktaş District, Bebek Neighborhood, parcel 132-133 of island 1259, with a minimum bid of 810,000,000 TL + VAT, and to conduct the auction on 30.09.2025 at 14:00 at our company's address, Uğur Mumcu Mahallesi FSM Boulevard N310 Yenimahalle Ankara, through open bidding and open auction, unanimously."
FEATURES OF THE WHITE MANSION
The property for sale consists of two buildings on parcel 132 of island 1259. The second-degree historical White Mansion, which has two basement floors, a ground floor, one normal floor, an attic, and a terrace, has a gross closed usage area of 695 square meters and a terrace of 208 square meters.
The other building, referred to as the Brown Mansion, consists of a ground and a normal floor, with a gross closed usage area of 230 square meters.
HE HAD LOST 2 LAWSUITS AS WELL
Akın İpek, who lives in England as a fugitive from FETÖ, had lost both lawsuits he filed against Turkey in international arbitration courts.
