Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy also reacted to Özgür Özel with the following statements: "The term 'coup' directed at our democratically elected President and legitimate government is an extremely unfortunate statement that opens the democratic legitimacy to discussion. Such approaches are the shadows of tutelary understandings that disregard the will of the nation."
