The words of a Palestinian woman who returned to her homeland after the ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement took effect in Gaza were moving. The prisoner exchange agreement, which includes a ceasefire in Gaza signed between Hamas and Israel, came into effect today. The words of the woman who returned to her homeland after the ceasefire were moving.
"I GAVE UP EVERYTHING I HAVE"
As those moments were captured on camera, the woman, who stated that she was returning to Rafah, was seen saying, "I am going to Rafah, my children became martyrs. Thank God. With God's permission, we have prevailed." The Palestinian woman also expressed, "I sacrificed my home, my children, everything I have. Yet we stand tall. It has been 9 months since I last set foot in Rafah. Victory belongs to God."
CEASEFIRE IN GAZA
The prisoner exchange agreement, which includes a ceasefire in Gaza facilitated by the United States, Egypt, and Qatar, was agreed upon by Hamas and Israel, and the agreement came into effect on January 19.
According to the agreement, it is anticipated that 33 Israeli prisoners will be released. Israel is also required to release 1,900 Palestinians.
