Galatasaray Sportif AŞ Vice President Abdullah Kavukcu responded to claims that salaries were not being paid and that this situation had caused a crisis. Kavukcu stated that salaries and bonuses were immediately deposited into accounts, saying, "In Europe, payments to players are made after 3 months. In our case, January's payments are made in February, and February's payments are made in March. So we are ahead of Europe. We never accumulate players' bonuses; we deposit them into their accounts immediately."

Continuing his remarks, Kavukcu stated that the purpose of those spreading these news is to create internal turmoil, saying, "They are deliberately making these news. Their aim is to disturb Galatasaray and sow seeds of discord among us."

Finally, Abdullah Kavukcu stated, "The claim that payments have not been made is a complete lie. We are not experiencing any issues regarding payments. If there were such issues, could we have received the debt-free certificate we submitted to UEFA on January 15?"
