RESPONSE TO UEFA INVESTIGATION ALLEGATIONS
Hakan Safi responded to allegations that an investigation was opened by UEFA regarding Kerem Aktürkoğlu, whom he sponsored during his transfer. In his statement, Safi said, "Recently, during the period when our football team is fighting for the championship, I would like to note that our community has taken note of those who appear to be Fenerbahçe supporters and are deliberately presenting UEFA's routine club reviews as 'an investigation opened specifically for Kerem Aktürkoğlu' and trying to create chaos. This process has been carried out and completed in accordance with the law, coordinated with the relevant units of the club and federation under my supervision. From today onwards, it should be known that anyone who makes negative news about the contract of Kerem Aktürkoğlu, who plays an important role in our club and our national team on the road to the World Cup, is an enemy of Fenerbahçe!

"I have been closely following the baseless news made through different agendas and personal interests regarding the transfer process of our football player Kerem Aktürkoğlu to our club, both through traditional and social media.
Especially recently, during the period when our football team is fighting for the championship, I am aware that our community has noted those who appear to be Fenerbahçe supporters and are trying to create a chaotic environment by claiming that 'an investigation was opened specifically for Kerem Aktürkoğlu' regarding UEFA's routine club reviews.
The relevant process has been carried out and completed in coordination with the relevant units of the club and federation in accordance with the law under my supervision. From today onwards, it should be known that anyone who makes negative news about the contract of Kerem Aktürkoğlu, who plays an important role in our club and our national team on the road to the World Cup, is an enemy of Fenerbahçe!
I kindly request that these news be disregarded, and I want you to know that, as I did during my tenure as an executive, I will continue to fight against those who seek to harm our community as a soldier of Fenerbahçe, wholeheartedly and selflessly.
