The Turkish Football Federation has made a change to the rule regarding the foreign player quota. According to the announcement, clubs will be able to register a maximum of 14 foreign players on their A Team List. There will be no age limit for 12 of these foreign players, but at least 2 of them must be born on or after January 1, 2003.

The Board of Directors of the Turkish Football Federation has revised the Player Eligibility for the 2025-2026 season of the Super League.

In a statement made by the TFF, it was announced that "The decision taken by the Board of Directors of the Turkish Football Federation has revised the Player Eligibility for the Trendyol Super League for the 2025-2026 season. Foreign players born in 2003 who have signed contracts and are registered on the A Team List for the 2025-2026 season can be registered on the A Team List for 2 seasons under this rule if they sign contracts for more than 1 season."

  • Clubs can register a maximum of 14 foreign players on the A Team List.
  • There will be no age limit for 12 of these 14 foreigners.
  • At least 2 of them must be born on or after January 1, 2003.
  • This condition will change in the 2026-27 season: at least 4 foreigners must be born on or after January 1, 2004.
