NOTICED BY THE BARKING OF SHEEPDOGS
The incident occurred in the Aktaş neighborhood of Kumlu district. According to the information obtained, shepherd Ahmet Salın went to the riverbank in the morning to graze his animals. Noticing that his dogs were barking continuously, Salın headed towards the direction of the sound. Seeing a person lying motionless in the river, Salın immediately reported the situation to the gendarmerie teams.
IDENTITY OF THE BODY DETERMINED IN A SHORT TIME
Upon the notification, gendarmerie and fire brigade teams were dispatched to the scene. The teams determined that the male body they retrieved from the river belonged to Mohammed Alsabbah, who had been missing for 13 days.
CAUSE OF DEATH TO BE DETERMINED BY FORENSIC MEDICINE
After the initial examination at the scene, Alsabbah's body was sent to the forensic medicine institution to determine the exact cause of death. Gendarmerie teams have initiated an investigation into the incident.
