In the Gölcük district of Kocaeli, a young man who had been missing was found dead in a thicket, shot in the head, as a result of tracking through the "location finding" application on his girlfriend's mobile phone.
In Kocaeli's Gölcük district, 31-year-old Batuhan Aşoğlu was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head, tracked down by his girlfriend using a location tracking application. An investigation has been launched regarding the incident.
GIRLFRIEND TRACKED HER BOYFRIEND USING A PHONE APPLICATION
The incident occurred around 2:00 PM in a wooded area on Köroğlu Street in Atatürk Neighborhood. According to reports, Batuhan Aşoğlu (31) had arranged to have breakfast with his girlfriend but was unreachable, raising her suspicions.
FOUND WITH A GUNSHOT WOUND TO THE HEAD
After her boyfriend did not answer his phone, the young woman used the location tracking application on his mobile phone and went to the area when the signal indicated a green space on Köroğlu Street. She found Aşoğlu motionless among the bushes and reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center.
Upon the notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. Health teams determined that Aşoğlu had lost his life during their examination. Investigations at the scene revealed that Aşoğlu had been shot in the head with a firearm, which was also found beside him. An investigation has been launched regarding the incident.
