Türkeş said, "Those who say 'shame on' the daughter of Great Leader Alparslan Türkeş are declaring the separatists that Great Leader Türkeş fought against as 'his daughter'... After the reactions from the stands towards Leyla Zana during the Somaspor–Bursaspor match, the statement of MHP Manisa Deputy Erkan Akçay angered Ayyüce Türkeş, the daughter of Alparslan Türkeş.
CHANTS DURING THE MATCH SPARKED REACTIONS
In the Somaspor–Bursaspor match played in Soma in the TFF 2nd League, a group of Bursaspor fans chanted sexist and insulting slogans targeting former HDP deputy Leyla Zana. The chants, which continued for a while during the match, also resonated widely on social media.

Following the incidents, MHP Manisa Deputy Erkan Akçay condemned the insulting chants directed at Leyla Zana in strong terms on his social media account. Akçay reminded that Leyla Zana is a name that the founding leader of the MHP, Alparslan Türkeş, referred to as "my daughter" in the past.
AYYÜCE TÜRKEŞ'S STRONG RESPONSE
Ayyüce Türkeş, the daughter of Alparslan Türkeş, reacted to Erkan Akçay's statement. In her post, Türkeş emphasized her father's struggle and political stance, saying, "Those who say 'shame on you' to the daughter of Başbuğ Alparslan TÜRKEŞ; they declare the separatists that Başbuğ TÜRKEŞ fought against as 'his daughter'... Oh my God, what days have we come to! Let me remind you what Başbuğ Alparslan TÜRKEŞ actually said: 'You are a Turkish nationalist, okay; just as you are a Turkish nationalist, you should also grant rights to Kurdish nationalists! Of course, I say to them, 'Get out of there, dog.' PERIOD." she said.
