Gökhan Isı (38), who was stabbed by his girlfriend Aslı Duran's (38) son Cumali Mutlu (20) in Aksaray, died in the hospital where he was being treated. The incident occurred on March 29 at around 21:00 in the 3rd floor of a 4-story apartment in Hacılar Harmanı neighborhood. A dispute broke out between Gökhan Isı, who was drinking at home with Cumali Mutlu and his mother Aslı Duran, and Isı. During the altercation, which escalated into a fight, Mutlu stabbed Isı twice in the abdomen.
HIDING IN THE APARTMENT
Gökhan Isı collapsed to the ground in a pool of blood. Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the address. While the injured was being taken into the ambulance, Mutlu, who had emerged from the apartment where he was hiding, attempted to attack again with a knife. However, the police intervened with pepper spray. After Gökhan Isı was taken into the ambulance, Cumali Mutlu tried to hit the back door of the ambulance with the knife. When the police intervened again, Mutlu fled.
MOTHER ALSO ARRESTED
Cumali Mutlu was caught by the teams after a short chase. His mother Aslı Duran was also detained due to her connection to the incident. After processing at the police station, Mutlu and Duran were referred to the courthouse and brought before the court, where they were arrested.
Gökhan Isı, who was being treated at Aksaray Training and Research Hospital, passed away last night. It was learned that Isı and Aslı Duran had been in a relationship for 3 years. It was revealed that the arrested Mutlu had recently been released from prison for another crime.
