Simge Sağın, who was released under judicial control after being detained as part of a drug investigation, has had her statement to the prosecutor revealed. The famous singer stated that she had no connection to the substance seized during the operation at her home, saying, "I do not use drugs. I did not know what was in my boyfriend's bag."
The statement of Simge Sağın, whose name was mentioned in the drug investigation involving famous personalities, has become a topic of discussion. The singer, who was released after giving a sample at the Forensic Medicine Institute with a travel ban abroad, denied the allegations.
“I HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE OF THE SUBSTANCE IN THE BAG”
Giving a statement at the prosecutor's office, Simge Sağın stated that the seized drug did not belong to her. Sağın, who explained that she went home after attending an award ceremony with her boyfriend İlkay Şencan, said she had no knowledge of the substance found in the bag during the search.
Sağın stated, “I do not use drugs. I did not know what was in my boyfriend's bag. I learned during the search.” She also mentioned that she only uses prescription medication due to her fibromyalgia condition.

On the other hand, İlkay Şencan also admitted in his statement that the seized substance belonged to him. Şencan stated that he purchased the substance about 3-4 months ago and kept it for personal use.
Emphasizing that Simge Sağın was unaware of the situation, Şencan said, “The substance belongs to me. Simge had no knowledge of what I was using or the substance in the bag,” giving a statement that defended the singer.
