"My dear Fatih, we used to talk occasionally, I was a guest on his show many times. I really go crazy when I see these crocodile tears. Especially how one of his sisters took advantage of him, how many times she landed on his house... 'Don't trust anyone in life, my Hatice,' he said, as if it were just yesterday. And he always said; 'I don't go to anyone's funeral, and no one should come to mine.' He used to say, 'I hate this community.' Rest in peace, my dear friend. After receiving the news of Fatih Ürek's death, Selin Ciğerci spoke to the press outside the hospital, expressing that she had known Ürek since he was 15 years old and said:
