ERDOĞAN'S REMARKS ON GAZA
In his speech, Erdoğan referred to the ceasefire in Gaza, saying, "The continuation of the ceasefire achieved in Gaza, with the initiatives of American President Mr. Trump and the contributions of leading regional countries, is of utmost importance not only for the Palestinian people but for the peace of the entire world."
"THE ONLY WAY TO ACHIEVE LASTING PEACE IS A TWO-STATE SOLUTION"
Erdoğan stated, "According to United Nations data, the destruction caused by Israel in Gaza has pushed back Palestine's development efforts by at least 70 years," and added, "The only way to achieve lasting peace is a two-state solution."
Erdoğan also expressed, "Unfortunately, we have witnessed not only the destruction of infrastructure in Gaza but also the devastation of the environment. The loss of over 70,000 children, women, and innocent adults cannot be compensated, nor can the wounds inflicted on the minds of future generations be erased. At this stage, it is essential to accelerate humanitarian aid efforts in Gaza and to begin reconstruction activities without delay."
