Istanbul Governor Davut Gül provided information about the "Heartfelt Meal Card" application that they will launch for the first time this year for students in need. Governor Gül stated, "We will give this card to our siblings who go to school. It will only be valid in the school canteen, and we will regularly load 2,000 lira onto it every month."

The "Iftar Meeting with Brother Families" program, organized to support orphan families in Istanbul, was held with wide participation. The program, organized by the Istanbul Governorship, the Istanbul Children Foundation, and the Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundation under the Ministry of Family and Social Services, took place at the Taşyapı Event Area.

Speaking at the iftar program, Istanbul Governor Davut Gül reminded that the Istanbul Children Foundation is an entity affiliated with the Governorship and stated that various social support activities for children are carried out through the foundation.

NEW CARD APPLICATION STARTING

In his speech at the program, Gül also announced a new social support application and provided information about the card system to be prepared for students. He stated that the application aims to contribute to meeting the basic needs of children, especially those continuing their education. Gül explained that the card would only be used in school canteens and that balances would be loaded regularly.

Continuing his speech, Gül expressed that the rent support provided to families would also continue, using the following statements:

"We will give this card to our siblings who go to school. It will only be valid in the school canteen, and we will regularly load 2,000 lira each month, which will be valid for your essential needs, primarily food, in the canteen. From now on, we will, God willing, be there for our children in every area they need, especially in their educational lives. Just as in the past, we will continue to provide monthly rent support of 20,000 lira."
