The former head coach of the Turkish National Football Team, Stefan Kuntz, has left his position as sporting director in Hamburg due to family reasons.
HIS RESIGNATION HAS BEEN ACCEPTED
In a statement from the Bundesliga club, it was said, "63-year-old Kuntz requested the immediate termination of his contract with the club's supervisory board, effective from December 31, 2025, for family reasons. The supervisory board accepted this request."
HAMBURG'S PERFORMANCE
Kuntz, who started his role in Hamburg in May 2024, had coached the Turkish National Football Team from 2021 to 2023. Hamburg, which has collected 16 points in 15 matches played in the Bundesliga, is currently in 13th place.
