In the Bodrum district of Muğla, a 16-year-old boy was assaulted by another boy of the same age in a park. The moments of the boy being kicked and punched were captured on camera.
In the Bodrum district of Muğla, C.E.K. (16) was assaulted by N.E. (16) in a park. The moments when C.E.K. collapsed after receiving kicks and punches were recorded by a mobile phone camera. In the investigation initiated regarding the incident, both N.E. and the person who recorded the footage were taken into custody.
The incident occurred on January 7 in a park located in the Karabağ neighborhood of Bodrum. Allegedly, a dispute arose between C.E.K. and N.E. for an undetermined reason. The argument quickly escalated into a fight involving kicks and punches. C.E.K. fainted after receiving blows in succession.
HORRIFYING MOMENTS CAPTURED ON CAMERA
Those moments were recorded by a person using a mobile phone camera. In the footage, it can be seen that C.E.K. staggered for a while before collapsing, while some people around watched the fight, saying "continue." Upon notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. C.E.K. was taken to the hospital by ambulance. After treatment, C.E.K. was discharged, and neither party filed a complaint against the other.
2 ARRESTS
Following the incident, the Bodrum Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched an investigation. As part of the investigation, N.E. and the person who recorded the fight were taken into custody. The Bodrum District Governorship issued a written statement regarding the incident.
The statement said, "In the news and footage published on various press, media, and social media organizations on February 25, 2026, regarding the allegation that a child was subjected to peer bullying and assaulted, it has been understood that the incident occurred on January 7, 2026, and a judicial investigation has been initiated."
