The Special Consumption Tax (SCT) rate on cigarettes and the fixed tax amount have been changed. With the Presidential Decision published in the Official Gazette and coming into effect, the SCT rate on cigarettes has been reduced, while the fixed tax amount has been increased "to compensate for the decrease in tax revenues resulting from this reduction."
