THERE IS A CURRENCY CRISIS IN THE COUNTRY
The new administration in Syria is struggling to pay salaries due to a cash shortage at the Central Bank. In response to the currency crisis, the daily ATM withdrawal limit was initially set at 200,000 Syrian pounds (approximately 20 dollars), but yesterday this limit was raised to 500,000 pounds. The Central Bank of Syria announced that all the money transported after the accident has been safely secured while keeping financial movements under strict control to overcome the liquidity crisis.
