The family of Hakan Çakır, who was stabbed to death in a road rage incident in the Keçiören district of Ankara, announced that they have received messages containing death threats. In the messages sent to his father, Şahin Çakır, threats were seen stating, "Your son is dead, we won't even let him rest in his grave. We will bury you next to your son."
The family of 22-year-old Hakan Çakır, who was stabbed to death due to a road rage incident in the Keçiören district of Ankara, stated that they have received messages containing insults and death threats.
THEY STABBED HAKAN ÇAKIR TO DEATH
The incident occurred on August 10, late at night, on Adnan Yüksel Street in the Etlik neighborhood. Hakan Çakır, who operated a raw meatball shop, was verbally harassed by Taha Z. (14) and Samet Z. (17), who were sitting on the stairs when his mother and sister were returning home from the shop. Hakan Çakır was stabbed to death during a fight that broke out with the individuals who verbally harassed his 15-year-old sister and mother. In the fight, his older brother Hakkı Can Çakır and father Şahin Çakır were also injured by stabbing, while Taha Z. and Samet Z. along with their older brother Emir Z. (19) and father Cemal Z. (45) were detained. The father and three brothers were arrested.
THREATENING MESSAGES ARE COMING TO HIS FAMILY
Hakan Çakır's family stated that they continue to receive messages containing insults and threats. Father Şahin Çakır said that the messages he received included statements that they would kill him and his other children as well. Father Çakır noted that he would stand against any kind of threat and would fight for the harshest punishment for his son's killers.
