The CHP mayor of Afyonkarahisar, Burcu Köksal, who was claimed to be switching to the AK Party and later denied these claims in her own words, has purchased the domestic car TOGG.
Burcu Köksal, the CHP mayor of Afyonkarahisar, who strongly denied claims that she would switch to the AK Party in recent months, announced that she has received the domestic car TOGG. In her post, Köksal emphasized that Atatürk nationalism supports local production.
SUPPORT FOR LOCAL PRODUCTION FROM BURCU KÖKSAL
Burcu Köksal, the CHP mayor of Afyonkarahisar, announced that she has purchased the domestic and national car model TOGG T10X. Sharing moments of the vehicle's delivery on her social media account, Köksal stated, "We received our TOGG T10X vehicle with the trust we have in Turkish engineers."
Köksal highlighted in her post that Atatürk nationalism supports local production, saying, "I am an Atatürk nationalist. Atatürk nationalism aims to support local production and work to elevate the country to the level of contemporary civilizations. Wishing for the production of many brands like TOGG, which is produced by our Republic of Turkey..."
CLAIMS OF SWITCHING TO THE AK PARTY HAD SURFACED
In recent months, claims had emerged that Köksal would leave the CHP and join the AK Party, but Mayor Köksal had firmly denied these claims. Köksal drew attention with her words, "I am not going anywhere. I continue my struggle by refuting the slanders. I have not had a peaceful day since the 37th Congress. What can I say to the attacks coming from the party I have devoted my life to?"
