It has been claimed that the duo organized a drug party at a mansion along the Bosphorus, attended by participants from the business and art worlds, where bringing phones was prohibited, and that sexual relations occurred with two or more individuals at the party.
Former Habertürk Editor-in-Chief Mehmet Akif Ersoy has also been arrested in the drug investigation, and arrest warrants have been issued for Kasım Garipoğlu, the cousin of Cem Garipoğlu, who murdered Münevver Karabulut, and Burak Ateş.
