The verdict has been announced in the case involving 362 defendants, who are said to be members of the "Daltonlar" criminal organization. The court sentenced the organization leaders to life imprisonment 12 times, while imposing varying prison sentences on the other defendants. During the sentencing hearing in Silivri, chairs were thrown, and the gendarmerie intervened with tear gas.

The trial held in the courtroom opposite the Marmara Closed Prison was attended by some detained and non-detained defendants as well as the lawyers of the parties. The prosecutor, who was asked for his opinion during the hearing, reiterated his views on the merits presented in previous sessions and requested that the children involved in the crime be punished in accordance with the opinion. The court announced its decision in the case where a total of 362 defendants were tried, including the files merged with the case opened against 305 defendants. The panel decided to separate the files of 34 defendants, including Barış Boyun, known as the organization leader, and organization executives Beratcan Gökdemir, Tolga Gültepe, and Bayram Demir, who could not be captured.

12 LIFE SENTENCES FOR ORGANIZATION EXECUTIVES

The court sentenced Bahadır Akdağ, one of the organization executives, to a total of 12 life sentences, 7 for 'premeditated murder' and 5 for 'intentional murder', including 6 aggravated life sentences, along with a total of 701 years and 9 months in prison for various crimes. Zafer Boyun was also sentenced to 12 life sentences, including 6 aggravated life sentences, and 681 years and 4 months in prison for different crimes. Sentences ranging from 1 year to 700 years were given to 258 defendants.

PRISON SENTENCES FOR RAP SINGERS

Rap singers 'Heijan', whose real name is Doğan Tarda, and 'Muti', whose real name is Muhammet Nedim Doğan, who were tried as defendants in the case, were acquitted of the charges against them. 'CAC', whose real name is Şahan Terzioğlu, and 'BIG', whose real name is Samet Işık, were sentenced to 4 years and 7 months in prison each for 'being a member of a criminal organization' and 'inciting to commit a crime'.

The court panel decided to acquit 62 defendants and to drop the case against 2 deceased defendants. 37 detained defendants were released under judicial control, while the detention of 96 defendants was ordered to continue. Additionally, the detention of 15 defendants was decided.

COURTROOM TURNED INTO A BATTLEFIELD DURING THE DECISION HEARING

During the hearing held on Monday, chaos erupted in the courtroom in Silivri as the decision text was read. Defendants hearing the heavy sentences disrupted the order of the hearing and attacked the gendarmerie personnel. After the defendants threw chairs at the gendarmerie, the court panel left the courtroom to ensure safety. Gendarmerie teams used tear gas inside the courtroom to stop the defendants who physically attacked them. As the gas took effect, the courtroom was evacuated, and it was determined that significant damage was caused to public property after the ensuing scuffle.

CHIEF PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE LAUNCHED AN INVESTIGATION

Following the events, the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office Organized Crimes Investigation Bureau opened a new file with investigation number 2025/154324. In a statement from the Chief Prosecutor's Office, it was emphasized that a thorough investigation was being conducted against the defendants for "Resisting a Public Official in the Performance of Their Duty" (TCK 265) and "Causing Damage to Public Property" (TCK 152).
