As part of the Century Housing Project, which is the largest social housing initiative in the history of the Republic, applications for 500,000 houses to be built in 81 provinces will close today at 23:59 via e-Government and tomorrow at 17:00 through banks. The lottery draws will begin on December 29 and continue until February 27.
Applications for the Century Housing Project, which will enable low-income citizens to own homes under suitable conditions, coordinated by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change and implemented by TOKİ, started on November 10 in 81 provinces.
APPLICATIONS END TOMORROW
Applications for 500,000 social housing units planned considering the housing demand of cities, population density, and economic structure will end today at 23:59 via e-Government, and tomorrow at 17:00 through Ziraat Bank, Halk Bank, and Emlak Participation Bank.
DRAWING WILL START ON DECEMBER 29
After the application process ends, the draws that will determine the rightful owners will start on December 29 and continue until February 27.
2+1 AND 1+1 HOUSES WILL BE BUILT
Within the campaign launched under the slogan "Homeowner Turkey," houses will be offered for sale with a 10% down payment and payment plans of up to 240 months. 40% of the houses, that is, 200,000 units, will consist of 2+1 apartments of 80 square meters. 30%, or 150,000 units, will consist of 2+1 apartments of 65 square meters, while the remaining 150,000 units will consist of 1+1 apartments of 55 square meters.
The apartments will be designed in a horizontal architecture and in accordance with the traditional texture as 2+1 and 1+1.
The first five cities where the most housing will be built are recorded as Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Bursa, and Konya. One-fifth of the total housing will be constructed in Istanbul.
FIRST DELIVERY IN MARCH 2027
Special quotas have been created in the project for the families of martyrs, veterans, disabled individuals, retirees, youth, and families with three or more children.
5% of the rightful owners will be families of martyrs and veterans, 5% will be disabled individuals, 20% will be retirees, 10% will be families with three or more children, 20% will be youth aged 18-30, and the remaining 40% will be other buyers.
The prices and installment amounts of the houses will vary between Istanbul and Anatolian provinces. In Anatolia, 1+1 apartments will be sold for 1 million 800 thousand lira, 2+1 apartments of 65 square meters for 2 million 200 thousand lira, and 2+1 apartments of 80 square meters for 2 million 650 thousand lira. The installments for 1+1 apartments in Anatolia will be 6 thousand 750 lira. The installments for 2+1 apartments of 65 square meters will be 8 thousand 250 lira, and for 2+1 apartments of 80 square meters, it will be 9 thousand 938 lira.
In Istanbul, 1+1 apartments will be sold for 1 million 950 thousand lira, 2+1 apartments of 65 square meters for 2 million 450 thousand lira, and 2+1 apartments of 80 square meters for 2 million 950 thousand lira. The installments for 1+1 apartments in Istanbul will be 7 thousand 313 lira, for 2+1 apartments of 65 square meters will be 9 thousand 188 lira, and for 2+1 apartments of 80 square meters will be 11 thousand 63 lira.
The delivery of the houses is planned to start in March 2027.
