A drinking water pipe burst on Mithatpaşa Boulevard in the Denizli neighborhood of the Seyhan district in Adana in the morning hours.
3 NEIGHBORHOODS FLOODED, ROAD COLLAPSED
Due to the pipe burst, a collapse occurred on the boulevard. In addition to the Denizli neighborhood, the main arteries, side streets, and some houses in the İsmetpaşa and Mithatpaşa neighborhoods were flooded.
CITIZENS EXPERIENCED DIFFICULT MOMENTS
Vehicle traffic was disrupted on the roads that turned into lakes. Pedestrians caught unprepared by the flooding experienced difficult moments.
THE MUNICIPALITY STARTED WORK
The Adana Water and Sewerage Administration (ASKİ) of the Metropolitan Municipality initiated work for the drainage of the water and the repair of the pipe.
