ELDERLY WOMAN FOUND DEAD IN HER HOME

The incident occurred around 10:00 AM in the apartment on the 5th floor of a 6-story building located on 79th Street in the Kızılsaray neighborhood of Muratpaşa district. According to allegations, M.K. had spoken with her mother Fatmana Karamık on the phone 3 days ago to arrange to go to the hospital. This morning, M.K. went to her mother's house with her boyfriend İ.K. Entering with a spare key, M.K. and İ.K. found Fatmana Karamık lying on the floor in a pool of blood in the living room.

THERE IS A FRACTURE DUE TO A BLOW TO THE HEAD

Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. In the examination conducted by the medical teams, it was determined that Karamık had passed away. A fracture due to a blow was detected on Karamık's head, and her lifeless body was taken to the Antalya Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for an autopsy.

SECURITY CAMERAS ARE BEING EXAMINED

Teams from the Antalya Police Department's Public Order Branch Homicide Bureau began examining security camera footage from the entrance of the apartment as well as the surrounding area. The teams, trying to identify those who entered and exited the apartment, took Fatmana Karamık's daughter M.K. and her boyfriend İ.K. to the police station for questioning. The investigation into the suspicious death is ongoing.
