İYİ Party Member of Parliament Lütfü Türkkan stated that following the commencement of releases from prisons due to the enforcement of the 11th Judicial Package's regulations on sentencing, announcements related to serious crimes have been shared in various messaging groups, claiming that this situation poses a serious threat to public safety. Türkkan said, "Some inmates have started to post advertisements for crimes such as assault, murder, and robbery in these groups."

Speaking in the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, İYİ Party Kocaeli Deputy Lütfü Türkkan made a striking claim regarding the "Law on Amendments to the Turkish Penal Code and Certain Laws," known to the public as the "11th Judicial Package," which came into effect recently. Türkkan alleged that after the commencement of releases from prisons due to the package's execution regulations, announcements related to serious crimes were shared in various Telegram groups. He emphasized that this situation poses a serious threat to public safety.

"THEY HAVE STARTED TO ADVERTISE FOR CRIMES LIKE ROBBERY AND MURDER"

Sharing his speech on his official social media account, Türkkan stated: "Some prisoners who see this package as a national lottery have now started to advertise for crimes such as assault, robbery, and murder in Telegram groups. They list crimes like shooting up places, arson, assault, execution, and kidnapping by saying, 'Peace be upon you, I just got out of prison' all over İzmir. This is one of the problems brought by this law."

"WE OFFER PLACE SHOOTING SERVICES"

Türkkan read some of the shared advertisements from the podium, stating that phrases like "We offer place shooting, place arson, assault, and leaving notes services all over İzmir" were included.
