The expert report regarding the hotel fire disaster in Kartalkaya, which claimed the lives of 78 people, has emerged. According to the report, the Bolu Municipality Fire Department conducted inspections inadequately and carelessly. Additionally, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism fell short, and the Ministry of Labor and Social Security did not carry out inspections in a timely and proper manner.
The expert report regarding the tragedy in Kartalkaya, where 78 people lost their lives, found both the hotel owner, the municipality, and the ministry at fault.
A significant development occurred regarding the fire tragedy in Bolu Kartalkaya. The expert report prepared about the tragedy was sent to the Bolu Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

The expert report regarding the hotel fire tragedy in Kartalkaya, where 78 people lost their lives, contained striking statements.
According to journalist Emrullah Erdinç, the report stated, "The hotel owners did not address the deficiencies knowingly. The Provincial Special Administration, under the Ministry of Interior, did not perform its duties properly."
The report indicated that both the municipality and the ministry fell short, stating, "The Bolu Municipality Fire Department conducted inspections inadequately and carelessly. The Ministry of Culture and Tourism was insufficient. The Ministry of Labor and Social Security did not conduct inspections in a timely and proper manner."
WHAT HAPPENED?
In the fire that broke out at the Grand Kartal Hotel in Bolu Kartalkaya Ski Center in the early hours of January 21, a total of 78 people lost their lives, including 36 children, and 51 others were injured. Following the incident, an investigation was launched, during which 30 people were detained, and 22 of them were arrested.
