A family with three children, who had pest control done at a company in Beyoğlu, ventilated their home and cleaned it the day after the treatment. According to reports, after experiencing symptoms of vomiting and itching during the night, the father, İsmet K., notified the health teams. The health teams that arrived at the house transported the family of five to the hospital by ambulance. AFAD teams conducted an investigation in the family's home, where they were receiving treatment.

FAMILY BECAME ILL AFTER PEST CONTROL
The incident occurred around 00:30 in the Hacıahmet neighborhood. According to the information obtained, İsmet K. had pest control done at his home by contracting a company one day prior. After the pest control, İsmet K. entered the house with his wife and three children and ventilated the house. He then cleaned inside. Allegedly, after the cleaning, family members began to experience complaints of vomiting and itching during the night.
THEY WERE TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL BY AMBULANCE
Upon the notification of father İsmet K. (35), health teams arrived at the scene. İsmet K., his wife Mukadder K. (30), and their children U.K. (13), K.K. (12), and B.N.K. (9) were taken to Okmeydanı Prof. Dr. Cemil Taşçıoğlu City Hospital in Şişli by ambulance for treatment.
AFAD TEAM CONDUCTED AN EXAMINATION IN THE HOUSE
Meanwhile, AFAD teams that arrived at the scene wore protective clothing and conducted an examination in the building and the apartment. It was learned that the samples obtained as a result of the work were taken for analysis. The police have launched an investigation into the incident.

Speaking about the incident, Şenay Akay said, "They did pest control. They entered without ventilating the house. That's why there was swelling on their bodies. They called the ambulance. I don't know what happened now. An ambulance came and took them away. I don't know that. It was very crowded. There were some things, but I don't know. Because it was around 01:30 - 02:00 at night. We just looked, that's all."
