Serdar Ali Çelikler compared N'Golo Kante to Neşet Ertaş due to his humble personality, stating, "He is the Neşet Ertaş of world football."
Journalist Serdar Ali Çelikler made a striking comparison between Fenerbahçe's new transfer N'Golo Kanté and the master of Turkish folk music, Neşet Ertaş.
"THE REASON KANTE IS LOVED IS HIS MODEST YOUNG MANSHIP"
Speaking about Kanté, who wore the Fenerbahçe jersey for the first time against Gençlerbirliği and stayed on the field for 62 minutes, Çelikler emphasized the character of the French star.
Çelikler stated, "The reason Kanté is loved is his modest young manship. In today's world filled with arrogance and ambition, while everyone is egotistical, he asks, 'Can I touch the World Cup?' and seeks permission. He is a player of the team that won the World Cup."
"A KIND OF NEŞET ERTAŞ OF WORLD FOOTBALL"
During the evaluation made in the program, Çelikler continued his comparison by saying, "A kind of Neşet Ertaş... We can truly say he is the Neşet Ertaş of world football."
WHO IS NEŞET ERTAŞ?
Born in 1938 in Kırşehir, Neşet Ertaş is considered one of the last great representatives of the Türkmen/Abdal music tradition. The master artist, known as the "Plectrum of the Steppe," passed away on September 25, 2012, in İzmir.
