The father who killed his 15-year-old son has confessed to the murder.

A father, who allegedly killed his son, whom he claimed was a drug addict, and left him by the roadside to make it look like 'someone else did it', along with the mother who is accused of knowing about the incident and helping, has been arrested.

KILLED HIS OWN CHILD

On December 31, in the Kızıldere road of Geçitli Cumhuriyet neighborhood in Yüreğir district, 15-year-old R.D. was found shot in the head with a gun. The father M.D., mother S.D., and sister E.D. were taken into custody regarding the child's death. It was alleged that the child was a drug addict and was therefore killed by his father with a gun at home, and later placed by the roadside to make it look like someone else had killed him.

MOTHER AND SISTER KNEW ABOUT THE MURDER

It was claimed that the mother and sister were also aware of the incident and assisted in the murder. After the questioning of the arrested father, mother, and sister was completed, they were referred to the courthouse after undergoing a health check at the forensic medicine unit. While father M.D. and mother S.D. were arrested, sister E.D. was released under judicial control.

CONFESSED TO THE MURDER

In his statement to the gendarmerie, father Mehmet Dinç reportedly confessed to the murder. It was learned that mother Sevinç Dinç stated in her testimony that she was threatened by her husband and hid the murder for this reason.
